Setia Haruman Technology Sdn Bhd (SHTech) has obtained the Application Service Provider (ASP) class license by the Malaysian Commission for Multimedia and Communication (MCMC) in 2004. The license allows SHTech to be a legitimate Internet Service Provider (ISP) in Cyberjaya and nationwide.

Operating under the new brand Cyberjaya Broadband, formerly known as City Broadband. it quickly emerged as the leading broadband service provider in Cyberjaya that serves corporate, enterprise and residential subscribers. Cyberjaya Broadband utilizes Ethernet technology via fiber optic carrier a.k.a “Fiberoptic Broadband” that provides high speed, highly redundant, dedicated or shared “symmetrical” broadband access services.

Cyberjaya Broadband network deploys Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) for upstream redundancy, which is a routing protocol that enables us to fortify Cyberjaya Broadband network for redundancy that will benefit Cyberjaya Broadband customers with high service reliability.

Cyberjaya Broadband is also offering Broadband-over-Powerline (BPL) internet access service.
