Setia Haruman Technology Sdn Bhd (SHTech) was incorporated in December 1999 and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Setia Haruman Sdn Bhd, the master developer of Cyberjaya, the ICT hub of Malaysia a.k.a the Silicon Valley of Malaysia.
The company was founded in a strategic long-term business goal which anticipated tremendous potential for Setia Haruman Sdn Bhd to actively participate in Information Technology (IT) activities, taking advantage of its position as the Master Developer of Cyberjaya.
SHTech is formed amongst the pioneer companies to operate in Cyberjaya and plays a role in enhancing its development and fulfilling the increasing demand in IT areas. SHTech caters for a niche IT market segment with provision of in-demand technology and able to provide efficient service and prompt responses to the customers’ need.

REFERENCE ACCESS OFFER (RAO)
The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission, MCMC (the “Commission”) has published a Commission Determination on Access List - Determination No. 2 of 2015 and the Commission Determination on the Mandatory Standard on Access - Determination No. 3 of 2016 (collectively known as “the MSA”).
SHTech Reference Access Offer (SHTech RAO) is prepared and maintained by SHTech pursuant to the Subsection 5.3.3 of the MSA in relation to network facilities and/or network services to be provided by SHTech. The SHTech RAO consists of the minimum terms and conditions which are consistent with the rights and obligations set out in the MSA for the purpose of Access/Interconnection between SHTech (Access Provider) and Access Seeker.

Competitive Edges
- SHTech’s main business activities are focusing on the IT development in Cyberjaya (and now nationwide!). Since the early years of incorporation, various IT city based projects have been undertaken successfully by SHTech, such as Cyberjaya City Command Center, Cyberjaya Metro Fiber Network and City Broadband.
- SHTech is a provider for fiber infrastructure to most areas in Cyberjaya and in Bangsar South Commercial - Phase 1&2 (BSC). Cyberjaya and BSC are MSC Malaysia Cybercity and Cybercenter respectively. The Cyberjaya Metro Fibre Network (CMFN) has been serving “dark fiber” services that connects most buildings in Cyberjaya, which the customers include Jaring, TIME, Maxis, Fibrerail, Fibrecomm, NTT MSC, DiGi, V-Telecoms, Prudential and other corporate organizations. CMFN has also embarked on Metro Ethernet (Metro-E) services.
- SHTech is a provider of fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) infrastructure to most residential areas in Cyberjaya. SHTech recently has been appointed to provide FTTH infrastructure and high speed fibre-optic broadband services to 676 residential units at Garden Residence (Phase 1, 2 & 3) development in Cyberjaya.
- SHTech is providing high speed Ethernet based Internet broadband-over-fiberoptic to corporate and residential subscribers through its City Broadband services since 2001. The service coverage area includes all main buildings and premises in Cyberjaya and BSC which includes residential and enterprise buildings.
- SHTech also leverages its specialized IT skills set by providing Project Management and IT consultancy services. To date the Company has undertaken various IT solutions project such as JPJ IT Headquarters and Data Center in Cyberjaya, Cyberjaya Smart School, Cyberjaya Police Station and Cyberjaya City Command Center. On the other hand, SHTech has provided its ICT consultancy services for MSC Malaysia, Iskandar Malaysia and Ministry of ICT Uganda.
